CDL, medical card, COI, registration, IFTA, 2290 — every expiry tracked. CDLs, medical cards, and truck and trailer insurance and registration land on the compliance list 60 days before they run out, with the date. The IFTA return lands 14 days before it is due, Form 2290 30 days before. Drug & alcohol testing runs through your consortium; file the result on the driver and a positive or refusal hard-blocks dispatch until a later clean test clears it (49 CFR 382.501). Dispatch refuses a driver whose CDL or med card is expired on file — and tells you when a date is missing.
